A Little Story Behind The Thrilling ATV Tour Trails

We have taken 1500 acres of secluded ranch land in the beautiful Sierra Valley, and created 27 miles of ATV trails just for fun! Then we added a trap shooting range…yep…for even more fun!

CURVACEOUS

Curvaceous is about half way up the trail, and this is our first stop where we have a water break (and potty break if needed). We also have some snacks and enjoy the view for a few.

After the break you will go experience your first loop. We tried to incorporate a motocross track with a ton of twists and turns. They have been banked well, so you can haul a** through them! There are probably 15 or 20 curves, and the last one we call “the 60 mile curve”. It is real long, and banked all the way and it heads downhill, and tightens up. If you going to fast it will get you…so we always have to warn the “slow down” at the end or else you’ll go right over the bank. In 8 or 9 years, we have only had one guy go off it into the sage brush.

With all of these curves everywhere, we decided to call it curvaceous! It’s the first trail, and it’s a FUN one!

BUSTED WING

How the he** did we come up with this name?

This trail goes through a creek bed, and then through a ton of really thick brush (which is usually where you can spot a bear, or deer hiding out)…really quite beautiful. After the brush, there is a hard right (tight) turn that banks into a creek and back up the other side, and then makes a couple turns to head up the hill, and back down.
There are some great curves in and out of the creek, up and down the hills, and many people love to take these turns fast! One day, we have 2 guys out on the trail (it was one of the guy’s birthdays), and we started to explain these hills to them…that they had to take it easy. Well, one of them was getting a little cocky, and before you know it, he is in the weed laying upside down. He had hit the hard turn to the left, lost control, and went right over the bank. He landed right on his shoulder, and his collar bone had popped completely out! This has been the only accident we have ever had on that trail, so that was a pretty memorable experience, so we decided to name that trail Busted Wing.
